While it was pointed out that the hanbok costume that Dahyun Chaeyoung of the group Twice showed through the cover video was similar to the Hanbok costume of Black Pink, JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) apologized, saying, “I did not recognize the similarity.”

JYP quickly apologized by posting “Hello, this is JYP Entertainment” on the official fan page on the 11th.

In this article, JYP said, “I am very sorry for this point,” saying, “In relation to the costumes of Dahyun Chaeyoung’s Melody Project, the corresponding hanbok did not properly recognize the product or similarity purchased from a hanbok maker.”

He added, “I deeply apologize to the designer along with the explanation of the situation.”

Previously, in the music video of Black Pink’s song’How You Like That,’ the designer in charge of designing the hanbok worn by Jisoo recently posted a video of Twice Dahyun and Chaeyoung on his Instagram, saying, “Customizing my design that I did not Is the costume?” he raised a question.

Accordingly, the controversy spread around the online community. This is because some of the designs of the hanbok worn by Dahyun and Jisoo were similar, such as decorated with a soother on the shoulder. As the controversy spread, JYP responded quickly and showed an apology.
