JPMorgan “Institution, investing 11% cryptocurrency” … future investment plans are mixed

According to Business Insider on the 3rd (local time), JPMorgan conducted a survey of about 3,400 institutional investors representing 1500 institutions. 58% of respondents said that cryptocurrency will continue. 11% of institutional investors are currently investing in cryptocurrency, but 89% are notSaid.

Business Insider analyzed, “Although the rise in bitcoin price has attracted the attention of institutional and individual investors, opinions are disagree about how institutional investors view the future of cryptocurrency.”

When asked “What is your view on cryptocurrency?”, 14% of respondents said, “You shouldn’t (invest),” and 7% said “It will be one of the most important assets.” Fifty-eight percent of investors said “it will remain the status quo”, and 21% said cryptocurrency is just a “temporary fad”.

The majority of respondents (98%) found that they thought that fraud was “somewhat” or “prevalent” in the cryptocurrency industry.

Several large institutional investors are interested in Bitcoin. Morgan Stanley is considering investing in cryptocurrency, according to Bloomberg News. Morgan Stanley currently holds 10.9% of MicroStrategy’s total stake, allowing indirect investment in 7681 Bitcoins. Black Rock is also preparing to invest in Bitcoin futures through two funds.
