Representatives of the ruling and opposition parties held a meeting ahead of the opening of the extraordinary National Assembly on February 1. When Ho-Young Joo, the National Power of the People’s Power, proposed a national investigation at the National Assembly level, the Democratic Party’s leader Kim Tae-nyeon rejected that the Blue House and related ministries had sufficiently explained.
In a meeting with Park Byeong-seok, chairman of National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok in the morning of this morning, in a meeting with Representative Won-nae Kim, “In the light of the background that documents were prepared after the Panmunjom talks and erased by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, there is a plan to build a nuclear power plant in North Korea without national consent. “Isn’t it?” he suggested the National Assembly investigation.
He said, “The Blue House and the ruling party say that the practitioners did it simply as an idea, but the people and opposition parties have a plan to build a nuclear power plant in North Korea without national consent, given the circumstances and background that the document was written after the Panmunjom talks, and in light of the circumstances and background that the people and the opposition party hurried to erase on the day off I have suspicions about whether there was this.
He added, “The Blue House and the ruling party say that it is untrue, but it is not a matter of the nature that the suspicion will be completely resolved just by saying that the fact is unfounded.” I propose to investigate.”
In response, Kim Tae-nyeon, head of the hospital, said, “Since the Blue House and related ministries, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Unification, explained everything to the public in great detail, I think it was all identified as a fact. When I think about whether the opposition party will make it a problem, unfortunately, it is judged that’a big election has come.
He said, “I don’t think there is a need to reconsider the problem. I think it has already been explained and explained.”
Accordingly, Chairman Park said, “It is important to check the facts quickly,” and “It is not desirable to flow into an excessive political battle and overheat. “As the corona and public welfare problems are serious and the inter-Korean relations are affected, the truth will need to be clarified as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, Chairman Park and the heads of both parties agreed to donate this year’s increase in the allowance for members of the National Assembly (about 7,300 won per month), Han Min-soo, a public congressman, said at a briefing.
When all members of the National Assembly donate the increase in allowance, it amounts to about 270 million won.
Chairman Park also delivered a letter to the 17 standing chairpersons, saying, “Please observe the national petition review period in order to guarantee the citizens’ right to petition,” he called for the relevant efforts.
