Actor Jisoo (real name Kim Ji-soo, 28) apologized after acknowledging the recently raised allegations of school violence.
In a handwritten apology posted on his Instagram on the 4th, Jisoo said, “I sincerely apologize to those who suffered from me. There is no excuse for misconduct in the past. They were unforgivable behaviors.”
“Since I started acting, I came to this point with undeserved attention from the public while covering the past, but there was always a feeling of guilt about the past in my heart, and regret that was too late to turn back always came to me with great anxiety. The dark past has always crushed me.”
He said, “I will deeply atone for those who would have suffered for a long time while seeing myself acting as an actor, and I will reflect on and regret my past, which I cannot wash my entire life.”
Jisoo also said, “It is painful and sinful to inflict tremendous damage to the broadcasters, production crew, actors, and the staff who have kept the drama scene silently due to my personal great fault. I sincerely apologize on my knees to all those who have been damaged by me.”
Prior to this, articles were posted one after another, focusing on the online community, stating that Jisoo committed a serious level of violence in school during his school days.
