Jeollanam-do announced that the ‘2021 New and Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project’ will be implemented in earnest from this month to support the installation of new and renewable energy facilities such as solar power generation in 4,719 locations in 14 cities and counties.

The New Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project is promoted by installing two or more types of new and renewable energy sources suitable for on-site conditions such as photovoltaic, solar heat, and fuel cells for houses, buildings, and public facilities in a fusion/complex manner. It is highly preferred as up to 85% of government and local expenses are provided to project participants.


Including KRW 22.2 billion in national expenditure, KRW 44.3 billion was spent to install new and renewable energy facilities such as solar energy 18,725 ㎾ and solar heat 4863m2 in 4,719 places including houses and shopping centers in Mokpo, Yeosu, and Naju. Support.

If a 3kW solar power facility is installed in a house, it is estimated that the monthly electricity usage will be reduced by 350kW and the annual electricity bill of about 650,000 won will be saved.
