“Solution with Suwon comes first”
Jeonbuk Hyundai announced the suspension of the recruitment of Baek Seung-ho (23, Darmstadt).
Jeonbuk announced on the 22nd that it was revealed on the 22nd that Baek Seung-ho had agreed to join Suwon Samsung when he returned to Korea.
Before this season, the club promoted the recruitment of Baek Seung-ho, whose position had decreased in the German second division Darmstadt.
However, there are variables. The agreement written by Seung-ho Baek while studying in Barcelona with Samsung Suwon caught the back of the K-League.
The contents of the agreement include support for 100 million won each year for three years to study abroad, and promises to go to Maetango.
However, when Baek Seung-ho signed a five-year contract with Barcelona, it was impossible to fulfill the promise, and a second agreement was written.
It is reported that it includes a promise to join Suwon upon returning to the K-League, and a clause to claim the return of the support fee and compensation for damages in case of violation.
Suwon, who watched Baek Seung-ho’s pursuit of a transfer to Jeonbuk, expressed discomfort, saying he broke his promise.
When Jeonbuk learned of the existence of a variable called an agreement, the negotiations were halted, leaving only the signature for the recruitment of Baek Seung-ho.
An official from Jeonbuk Hyundai said, “We immediately stopped negotiations with only the signature left behind. In fact, he withdrew from the battle for Seungho Baek.”
