Jeollabuk-do is making every effort to prepare for the rapid and safe corona 19 vaccine vaccination.
Jeonbuk-do announced on the 3rd that it held a meeting of the Corona 19 Vaccination Regional Council consisting of 15 people including the Medical Association, Hospital Association, Nurse Association, Infectious Internal Medicine Expert, Fire Department, and Police Agency.
The meeting discussed the close cooperation system with related organizations for vaccination in the future, including support for the operation of medical personnel and vaccination centers, securing consigned medical institutions, and quick response to abnormal reactions after vaccination.
The medical association, hospital society, and nurses’ association agreed to cooperate in securing medical personnel, the fire department headquartered to treat and transport emergency patients, and the police agency and volunteer center actively cooperated in vaccination center security and traffic safety management.
In addition, the province announced that it will spur the vaccination promotion centered on the Jeollabuk-do Corona 19 Vaccination Implementation Promotion Team so that residents of the province can safely receive vaccination.
On January 27, Do launched the Corona 19 Vaccination Implementation Promotion Team consisting of 5 teams and 20 people, headed by Vice Governor Choi Hoon.
The promotion team plans to select 15 vaccination centers in 14 cities and counties by mid-February so that residents can safely receive vaccinations, and designate and operate a consigned vaccination medical institution.
The timing of vaccination depends on the supply and demand of the vaccine, and in the first quarter, it is scheduled to be sequentially administered to workers aged 65 and older in the nursing hospital, elderly medical welfare facilities, and high-risk medical institutions, in the second quarter, and to workers in medical institutions and home welfare facilities in the third quarter .
Vice Governor Choi Hoon, head of the North Jeolla Province’s Corona 19 Vaccination Implementation Promotion Division, said, “We will build a close cooperation system for vaccination and prepare thoroughly so that all citizens can receive vaccination quickly and safely.”
