Actor Jang Dong-yoon apologized for the controversy over the history distortion of the drama’Chosun-gu Masa’.
On the 27th, Jang Dong-yoon’s management company Dongi Company posted a long apology.
Jang Dong-yoon said, “I was worried a lot. I am writing in hopes that honest and sincere answers will be provided even if I am not satisfied with many people waiting for my thoughts and positions to participate as one of the leading roles in’Chosun-gu Masa’.” Explained the reason for posting the apology.
He said, “Once there is no excuse. I’m very sorry. I didn’t know enough that this work would be such a problem. It’s because I was stupid and uncomfortable. I only looked at the work from the standpoint of the actor who plays the creative work. Socially sharp. I overlooked the part I had to look at properly. It’s a big mistake,” he admitted and apologized.

Lastly, Jang Dong-yoon revealed the meaning of his reflection and said, “I keenly know that I can work with the love and interest of the public. I didn’t want it to be an article, but as I sincerely expressed my heart, I repeatedly apologize for the fact that it was like that.”
On the same day, Jang Dong-yoon’s management company, Dongi Company, apologized, saying, “I will feel the responsibility with the actor and think more carefully in choosing the work in the future.”
As soon as the first broadcast of SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama’Chosun Gumasa’ was recently broadcasted, the history was controversial. From characters based on historical figures to Chinese props and backgrounds, it was a problem.
On the 26th, when criticism from netizens poured out, SBS decided to cancel the broadcast of’Choseongu Masa’. SBS said, “I am concerned about the economic loss of broadcasters and production companies and the lack of programming, but I felt heavy responsibility as a terrestrial broadcaster and decided to cancel the broadcast.”
