It is known that a man in his 50s, who killed himself by wielding a weapon against employees at the Jamsil Tax Office in Songpa-gu, Seoul, is a team leader level employee of another tax office in Seoul. The police temporarily concluded that the crime was due to personal resentment with the victim female employee.

According to the police on the 4th, the victim woman, A, filed two complaints with the police against Nam-mo, 50, an employee of a tax office in Seoul at the end of last year and applied for personal protection measures. The police accepted this, paid a smart watch to Mr. A, and registered Mr. A’s phone number to the 112 system. However, it is reported that A was not wearing a smart watch at the time of the incident.

On the 3rd, when the incident took place, it was investigated that Nam sought the Jamsil Tax Office for personal problems with A, not for work. Nam was reported as an employee in charge of investigation at a tax office in Seoul.

On the 3rd at 5:01 pm on the third floor of the Jamsil Tax Office, Nam swung a weapon against two male employees who wounded and dried A’s face in the civil petition room. Immediately after the incident, Nam drank a liquid believed to be poisonous and was taken to a hospital, but died. It is known that the three victims, who are employees of the tax office, were not injured enough to endanger their lives.

On this day, the police applied for a warrant for an autopsy on the body of Nam to determine the exact cause of death. It is also investigating the exact details of the crime against tax office staff and witnesses.
