Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced that it will transform into an electric vehicle company.

Jaguar Land Rover announced its’Reimagine’ plan on the 15th (local time) through its newsroom to achieve zero carbon emissions in the entire vehicle production and sales process by 2039.

Jaguar Land Rover plans to replace all Jaguar branded vehicles with electric vehicles starting in 2025.

The Land Rover brand plans to launch six electric vehicles over the next five years. The first model will be released in 2024. Land Rover plans to increase the proportion of electric vehicles to 60% of all models by 2030.

The company plans to invest $3.5 billion (approximately 3,800 billion won) annually in technology development and related services to implement this re-sale plan.
