Samsung Electronics will start hiring experienced employees in the device solution (DS) sector by the 22nd of this month. Including the memory division, there are only 10 recruitment fields. The specific recruitment scale is not known, but it is expected that the scale will be not as small as Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong previously emphasized in a letter in prison last month that “we must faithfully create employment”.

According to Samsung Electronics on the 2nd, applications for experienced employees in the DS division for the first half of 2021 have been received from the 1st. The application deadline is until the 22nd of this month.

There are 10 recruitment fields including ▲ Memory Business Department ▲ System LSI Business Department ▲ Foundry Business Department ▲ Semiconductor Research Center ▲ TSP Supervisory ▲ Global Infrastructure Supervision ▲ DIT Center ▲ Production Technology Research Center ▲ Comprehensive Technology Institute ▲ Division Direct.

Working areas include Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Giheung (Yongin) campuses in Gyeonggi Province, and Cheonan and Onyang (Asan) campuses in Chungnam. Starting with the application, the final acceptance in May is screened after document screening, interview screening, and employment health checkup.

As a preferential treatment for Samsung Electronics, it is stated that those with a bachelor’s degree have more than four years of experience, and those with a master’s degree have more than two years. Currently, the industry observes that inquiries about hiring of employees of other companies will continue.

It is predicted that the frozen job market will revitalize as Samsung Electronics started hiring experienced employees in the semiconductor field such as the memory division. On January 26th, Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong emphasized in a letter from prison that “we must be faithful to the corporate headquarters of investment and job creation.”
