[서울이코노미뉴스 박미연 기자] Heungkuk Life’s twin volleyball players Jae-young Lee and Lee Da-young apologized for the controversy, but the controversy has not subsided. Not only the broadcasting industry, but also the advertising industry is paying attention to the amount of penalty they have to pay while erasing the traces of Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young.

According to industry sources on the 13th, the Kia Motors advertisement, which featured two of them, was turned to private while twin female volleyball players Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young (Heungkuk Life) left the team, who were controversial over the’school violence controversy’.

Earlier, they appeared in the’Stinger Meister’ CF in August last year. The advertisement shows the two of them training together, starting with photos from childhood.

However, as suspicion of school violence by the twin sisters arose, Kia Motors switched the advertisement to private on its official YouTube channel.

In response to this, Kia Motors did not disclose a separate position other than placing an advertisement. As the twin sisters have admitted to school violence in the past, advertisers can demand a penalty from them.

Amid controversy over the controversy between the twin players Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young of the women’s professional volleyball team, Heungkuk Life Insurance, and the school violence in the past, they are interested in whether the advertiser in which they appeared will demand compensation for damages.

In general, advertising contracts often contain a’classification clause’ that charges a penalty of about 200 to 300% of the advertising cost if the model causes social controversy and adversely affects the image of the advertising company.

In the case of Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young, it is evaluated that the possibility of a direct lawsuit being filed is not high because it is an offense committed before the advertising contract. However, there is room for controversy over the fact that Lee Da-young used social network service (SNS) to fuel suspicions of conflict with other players.

If the part of using SNS is recognized as social objection, damage to the image, or violation of dignity in the contract, the penalty that must be incurred may increase.

The Kia Motors advertisement, in which the two appeared, disappeared. Kia Motors converted the ad from its official YouTube channel to private. Kia Motors did not disclose a separate position other than placing an advertisement.

Earlier, they were selected as Kia Motors models in August of last year and appeared in CFs. It’s a 30-second advertisement from the two’s childhood photos to the post-training.

Broadcasters also began to erase traces of the programs they appeared on. Channel A’s entertainment program’Icon Tact’ side deleted and changed the video related to the 46th and 47th broadcasts that sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young appeared in July last year.

TVN’You Quiz on the Block’ and T-Cast E channel’Playing Sister’ also deleted the VOD service and clip video of Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young.

Earlier, in Natepan, etc., there was a statement about the past school violence by Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee. The author listed 21 cases of damage, stating that there were 4 people who were subjected to school violence by Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee.

The author said, “It’s’dirty’ and’it smells like’ and told me not to come next to me. Every day, if they didn’t like them, they called their parents’your mother, abby’ and swear words. “The perpetrator made an errand to the victim who was sharing the lodge, but when he refused, he brought a knife and threatened him.”

Accordingly, Lee Jae-young and Da-young Lee and Heungkuk Life Insurance announced their apology through the official Instagram. Lee Da-young said, “I deeply apologize for making words and actions to my colleagues who worked out sweating and working out with a young heart to have difficult memories and scars.”
