There is a lot of resistance and opposition now, but a system such as basic income will become an essential system in the future.
Governor Lee cited a part of the book “Politics as a profession” by German sociologist Max Weber, saying, “It is politics to make the impossible possible and to make new paths.”
The quoted part is, “Politics is a job that penetrates hard and slowly through hard planks, with both passion and a sense of balance. Until now, if people who challenged the impossible had not continued to appear, mankind would probably not have achieved even what is possible.”
Governor Lee seems to have written such an article to emphasize that even an institution that is currently invisible to common sense should be realized according to a political vision.
