However, the company that was listed in the US this time is Coupang I&C. It is a company that owns most of Coupang Co., Ltd. The company is based in Delaware, USA. The state of Delaware is also called as a tax feature because of its large corporate tax benefits and a number of benefits. The board of directors is Coupang’s chief executive body.
It consists of 12 members, headed by the chairman of the board of directors Kim Bum-seok. First of all, they are American Koreans who acquired American nationality from Chairman Kim Bum-seok. All non-executive directors as well as chief executives in finance, technology and administration are foreigners. There are currently two Korean board members.
