There is a country that brought the title of’No. 1 inoculation rate relative to the population of COVID-19 vaccine’ from Israel. It is the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the same Middle Eastern country.

According to statistics site Hour World Inn data on the 7th (local time), the UAE’s population of Corona 19 vaccination is 39.95%. It beat Israel, which is 39.59%, by a slight margin. If you look at the New York Times (NYT) statistics, the difference is wider. NYT calculated the UAE as a percentage of the population at 41% and Israel at 38.6%.

Of the 70 countries that have started vaccination, Israel has been the number one vaccination rate ever. However, the UAE surpassed Israel and rose to’surprise number one’. In the UAE, with a population of about 9.9 million, about 3.95 million people have received the Corona 19 vaccine at least once. In Israel, with a population of about 8.6 million, 3.43 million have been vaccinated against Corona 19 at least once.

The UAE has been vaccinated against Corona 19 from December 14 last year. Pfizer and Sinofam are getting the vaccine. The UAE is planning to secure the amount of COVID-19 vaccine early and inoculate half the population within the first quarter (January to March). Seychelles, a small African country, is also closely following the vaccination rates of the UAE and Israel.
