Iran “Upgrade uranium concentration to 20%” Middle East tension rising

The seizure of our chemical carriers by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard took place while Korean banks were freezing Iran’s oil sales due to US economic sanctions. Because of this, the conflict between Korea and Iran is growing, and Iran has also begun work to raise the concentration of uranium to 20%. It is analyzed with the intention of pressing the United States and the western world ahead of the launch of the Joe Biden administration. Earlier, President Trump unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement in 2018 and resumed sanctions against Iran.

Reuters reported a statement from an Iranian government spokesman that “it started raising uranium enrichment concentrations to 20 percent.”

The International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA also announced that “the Iranian local inspection team confirmed 20% of uranium enrichment.”

Iran’s uranium enrichment limit as set out in the Iran Nuclear Agreement is 3.67%.

On the other hand, the concentration of 20% is what Iran concentrated before the nuclear agreement.

The Iranian nuclear agreement was signed with Iran in 2015 by the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China.

Iran is giving up its nuclear program, and six countries are lifting economic sanctions against Iran.

However, US President Trump withdrew from the nuclear agreement in May 2018 and resumed sanctions against Iran.

Then Iran continued to increase its uranium concentration.

The European Union expressed strong concern.
