Song Joong-ki returns to Netflix’Seungri-ho’
Honest confession to remarks of “desperation”

Netflix’Seungriho’ is the first space science fiction blockbuster in Korea. The story of the vast universe that can only be seen in Hollywood movies is unfolded on a CRT in Korean without discomfort. Actor Song Joong-gi sat in the cockpit of’Seungri-ho’ and launched us into space in 2092.
‘Seungri-ho’ is a film taken after Song Joong-gi suffered a great deal from her personal history. He also explained that it was “a feeling of desperation” while explaining the character at a press conference earlier. This was interpreted as Song Joong-ki’s heart after the divorce.
In an interview held on the 9th, Song Joong-gi said, “I know everything. As I said, it was my feelings when shooting.”
He said, “I want to explain the specific situation, but I’m embarrassed so I can’t speak to you,” he said, “I wonder if all of the words I gave you could be expressed.”
Song Joong-ki said, “I like my personality as natural. That’s why I said that. I tried to accept my emotions naturally. It’s not that I can overcome artificially.”
‘Seungriho’ tells the story of UTS, a new home built in the desolate earth and satellite orbit, and space pirates who remodel spacecraft to make money and collect space garbage. In the play, Song Joong-gi played the role of Tae-ho Kim, a former UTS squadron who disobeyed the upper order to arrest illegal immigrants and was robbed of everything.
He has built a challenging filmography that transcends characters, eras, and genres in each film, such as the movie’Battleship Island’,’The Wolf Boy’, the drama’The Chronicles of Asdahl’,’Descendants of the Sun’, and’The Good Man Who Isn’t in the World’. Song Joong-gi, who returned to the movie after 3 years, looks cold but warm and lax, but plays the role of Taeho, who has genius skills, and depicts the bright appearance and hidden behind in depth. For the first time, he also challenged the acting of’paternal love’.
Regarding the character and synchro-yul, Song Joong-gi said, “I am not as shameless as Tae-ho. I use the expression’Tsundere’ a lot around me. Personally, it is not a sweet style. I think that is a little similar to Taeho-rang. The warmth in it is the warmth in it. I always seem to want to live with it.”

Song Joong-gi said, “I respect those reactions from the standpoint of doing popular culture and art. I mean it. I don’t think I’m a’shinpa, so I need to think about it.”
He said he tried to understand the family code while watching the’Legend of Autumn’. “I don’t have anything to do with’Seungri-ho’, but I always see it for emotional reference. Let go,” he explained.
‘Seungriho’ was scheduled to be released in the summer of last year, but after delaying the release twice due to the prolonged release of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), it eventually chose to go to Netflix. ‘Seungriho’, which was released around the world through Netflix on the 5th, achieved a feat of taking first place in 28 countries. Director Sung-hee Cho, who created the worldview of’Seungri-ho’ for nearly 10 years, and 1,000 VFX experts participated in it for showing the essence of Korean technology that realized a realistic universe.
Song Joong-gi said, “One of the officials gave tears to the feedback. All the movies have good points and bad points, but he gave up that thought in the middle. It was good to hear that he watched with applause. It means that it is the first in Korea. It is a work that I have, and I am proud to be a member.”
After the release of’Seungri-ho’, Song Joong-gi visits the home theater with the drama’Vinsenzo’. He said, “I have a feeling of pressure when I greet a drama and a movie together. It seems to be twice as much. I am greedy. Both works are very affectionate.”
