He said,’I wish I could feel Suho’s past just by looking in the eyes’, so I thought about it and prepared a character. I learned a lot while meeting Suho for six months, but what I felt best was that I had a different sense of immersion. I felt a reaction in sync with Suho. So even when I read the script, I shed tears when I saw Suho’s inner heart.

▲ Was there any pressure on the original work?

The work’Goddess Advent’ was popular as a webtoon, and it was not without pressure as it was a work that many people know. So I thought about it a lot. I was contemplating how to show Cha Eun-woo’s new appearance, and asked a lot of advice from people around him. Although there was a feeling of pressure, I tried to work hard, believing in the words of the people around me and believing in myself. I decided to focus on Suho and tell the story of Suho and worked on the work.

▲ Because it is a very popular work, the likes and dislikes of’The Goddess Advent’ were mixed.

I think there may be differences of opinion. However, when shooting, I could also be shaken, so I tried to listen to the stories told by the surroundings without looking up as much as possible. As the people around me told me what I needed to hear, I worked on the work by supplementing the points to be supplemented and improving the points to be improved.

There were people who liked Suho and Seojun (Hwang In-yeop), but we tried to make a win-win between us. We played a joke with us and tried to shoot with power. When my friend, who was a trainee, took his own life, I became more immersed as I was working as a team. How painful and hurt I must have been, I guess I was just a trainee. How hard it is to face people and hate yourself. I have some bad thoughts. The feelings went back and forth.
