In the future, four-member households will be able to move into integrated public rental housing if their monthly income is less than 7.23 million won. Integrated public rental housing refers to the integration of the existing permanent rental national rental happiness housing, and as early as the end of this year, the recruitment of tenants begins.
The Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs announced on the 20th that it will prepare amendments to the enforcement ordinance of the’Special Act on Public Housing’ containing such details and announce the legislation. First, the resident qualifications and supply standards for integrated public rental housing were newly established.
Integrated public lease can be occupied by homeless households whose monthly average household income is 150% or less of the standard median income and total assets are less than the third quintile (based on the quintile) of income. If the median income is less than 150%, a three-person household can be eligible for moving-in at 5.97 million won per month and a four-person household at 7.13 million won. In terms of assets, the third quartile of income is 285 million won.
In particular, households with 1 or 2 people were given a higher income. Accordingly, a single-person household can move in at 3.1 million won and a two-person household at 4.94 million won. In the case of dual-income couples, households with a monthly income of less than 180% of median income can move in.
As for the value of automobiles among the asset standards, the current public rental housing was applied with the ’25 million won x transportation equipment consumer price index’, but the standard amount was raised to 35 million won. The consumer price index is around 1, so 35 million won is the standard amount.
However, 60% of the supply is first supplied to households with a median income of 100% or less in order to guarantee the opportunity to move in to the low-income bracket. Priority supply targets include both the existing permanent rental and the priority supply target of the national rental, and non-housing (Jungbang, Gosiwon, etc.) residents and children who have completed protection have been newly established as priority supply targets.
Priority supply is operated on an additional point system in which tenants are selected in the order of the highest score. Accordingly, the lower the income, the higher the score is given. Those who drop out of preferred supply will be converted to general supply without requiring a separate application. They select tenants by lottery.
Currently, the age of qualification for youth occupancy is 19-39 for young people, but the minimum age for unified rental has been extended to 18-39 for first-year college students.
