The commemoration procession continued from the morning of the 16th at the Busan Citizen’s Incense Center, the late Chairman of the late Ki-wan Baek. In addition to the City Hall Plaza, a memorial incense center in the Busan area was also established in Busan Democratic Park and Labor Welfare Center. Kim Jong-ki, director of Democratic Park, who installed an incense burner on the first floor of the Democratic Uprising Memorial in the building, said, “He has lived a wonderful life that anyone who has encountered the democratization movement will respect.” He added, “Rather than ourselves, we only put our efforts into unification and liberation. It is our remaining role to connect this spirit.”
