Industrial Bank of Korea, signed an agreement with 16 venture capitals to support innovative start-up companies

IBK announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with 16 venture capitals at the IBK Changgong Guro Center to strengthen investment-financing complex financial support for innovative start-up companies.

Under the agreement, IBK plans to provide US Silicon Valley bank-style venture debt to companies recommended by venture capitalists. In cooperation with venture capital, it discovers innovative startup companies and provides investment and non-financial services.

The Silicon Valley bank-style venture loan is a system that provides loans to startups invested by institutional investors such as venture capital. Venture companies have the advantage of securing operating funds until follow-up investment is made.

An IBK official said, “We will build a domestic investment-financing complex financial ecosystem through advanced investment and loan methods.”
