According to Detic News on the 21st, the Jakarta Central Police Department’s criminal investigation team said, “The 23-year-old J, who posted the fact of sharing homosexuality with medical staff on Twitter, is being investigated for posting pornography under the E-Commerce and Information Trade Act (UU ITE).”

At the end of last month, a male Corona19 patient admitted to Kemayoran Emergency Hospital posted a photo of whatsapp messenger capture and a photo of a protective suit, which is believed to have been naked, containing content suggesting that he had sex with same-sex medical personnel in the hospital bathroom.

Kemayoran Emergency Hospital was originally used as an Asian Games athlete’s village, but it was renovated to quarantine a large number of patients after the coronavirus outbreak.

Netizens who checked the tweet were astonished at the situation where the medical staff took off their protective clothing and had a same-sex sexual encounter with a corona patient in a quarantine hospital.

Currently, 4,651 corona patients are hospitalized in this hospital, and since March last year, a cumulative 5,158 people have been treated there.

The police tracked down the tweeter and arrested Mr. J as a suspect, but the other medical staff said that they did not post the charges because they did not post pornography on social media.

The police confirmed that Mr. A met with medical staff through a gay dating app during quarantine at Kemayoran emergency hospital, and that he had sex at least twice on the 24th and 25th of last month in the hospital.

Turning on the gay dating app will find people with the same app within a 500m radius, police explained.

Local media reported that if Mr. A is convicted of posting pornography, he could be sentenced to six years in prison or a fine of not more than Rp 1 billion (78.6 million won).
