
The VR rhythm game’Beat Arena’ based on Beatmania, Konami’s representative arcade rhythm game series, will be released as Oculus.
On the 10th, Konami released an introduction video of the VR rhythm game Beat Arena through its official YouTube. At the beginning of the video, Oculus Quest 2, a VR device that has recently gained considerable popularity, announced the launch of the Oculus platform.
The release date was also disclosed on the official website. The release date is March 12, and the price is $29.99 (approximately 34,000 won).
Beat Arena is the new VR version of Beatmania, an arcade rhythm game that represents Konami, and you can play not only popular Beatmania songs, but also a number of original songs. Players can create their own avatars, play various instruments such as drums, guitars, keys, and bass, and create band sounds. It is also possible to play ensemble by sharing game data with friends.
Beat Arena can be played as Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2. Two languages are supported: Japanese and English.
