Hana Bank Chairman Park Seong-ho took office as the 3rd largest bank leader of Hana Bank, which was launched after the merger of Hana-Foreign Exchange Bank in 2015. At the inauguration ceremony held at Hana Bank’s headquarters in Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 25th, he expressed his ambition, “I will create a bank with more expectations for tomorrow by focusing on sustainable growth of customers, employees and society”

Bank chief Park suggested three strategic directions, including ▲digital banking in the life of guests ▲a bank that grows with employees ▲a bank that develops with society.

First of all, it plans to build an omni-channel (a service that enables users to search for and purchase products across various channels such as online, offline, and mobile) by combining digital technology and emotion, and a partnership-based platform ecosystem. The idea is to provide a differentiated consumer experience through this.

It also revealed the goal of making employees feel a sense of accomplishment by equipping them with expertise. It is a plan to support employees digitally so that they can grow into key talents in the future. He also said that it will fulfill its corporate social responsibility by realizing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management and eco-friendly, low-carbon finance.

Shinim Park, head of the bank, joined Hana Bank’s predecessor, Korea Investment Finance, and started working. From December 2015, he served as the CEO of Hana Financial Group, an IT affiliate for Hana Financial Group, for about three years, and from June 2019, he served as the head of the bank of Hana Bank Indonesia. It is evaluated that the experience as a CEO in the global and digital fields will also help to serve as a bank manager.

After taking office, Park took the first step to visit the branch and communicate with the staff.
