Inauguration of Hana Bank President Park Seong-ho, presenting three business strategies

Hana Financial Group announced that after a general shareholders meeting of Hana Bank on the 25th, Bank Chairman Park Seong-ho was inaugurated as the next Hana Bank President.

With this, Hana Bank Chairman Park Seong-ho became the three largest bank leader of Hana Bank after Hana Bank was launched in September 2015.

Park Sung-ho, the new head of the bank, served as the CEO of Hana Financial’s IT subsidiary,’Hana Financial TI’ for about three years from December 2015, leading the successful computer integration of the integrated Hana Bank.

In addition, he was inaugurated as the head of the bank of Hana Bank Indonesia in June 2019 and achieved successful local business performance in Indonesia.

After joining Hana Bank’s predecessor, Korea Investment Finance, as a branch manager at the age of 36 based on its sales capabilities, Bank Manager Park Seong-ho gained experience encompassing sales and management with constant challenge and effort.

In addition, he has the capacity as a’strategic tool’ accumulated by serving as the head of the bank’s business management division and the holding CSO (Group Strategy General).

Chairman Park also suggested three strategic directions to create a’bank with more expectations for tomorrow’.

First, the digital bank in customer life is a strategy to provide a differentiated customer experience through the establishment of an omni-channel and platform ecosystem based on the combination of digital technology and emotion.

He also mentioned that it will become a’bank that grows with employees’ so that employees can grow into core talents by digitally arming them so that they can feel a sense of accomplishment with expertise.

Lastly, it proposed a strategy of’a bank that develops with society’, such as pursuing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management and expanding eco-friendly and low-carbon finance.
