According to the IT industry on the 18th, executives of Hancom Group affiliates planned a workshop at a training center in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do on the 19th-20th.

Hancom Group Chairman Kim Sang-cheol and Kim Yeon-soo, the eldest daughter of Chairman Kim, are also known to be planning to attend the workshop.

The Hancom Group canceled the workshop when media reports and criticism from inside and outside the company increased.
Hancom said that all the executives who were scheduled to attend were tested for Corona 19 at the screening clinic, and that consultations with local governments such as Gyeonggi-do have been completed.
According to the government’s social distancing adjustment plan announced on the 15th of this month, Hancom’s workshop is not a violation of measures.
