In response to Kim Jong-in’s claim, “I will secretly build a nuclear power plant in North Korea,” the Ministry of Industry has released the entire document.

The Blue House and the government’s ruling party are strongly denying allegations that North Korea attempted to build a nuclear power plant in top secret. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has a super strong push to disclose the full text of internal documents.

The Ministry of Industry, on the 1st, released a total of 6 pages of’North Korean nuclear power plant construction documents’, including 4 pages of the main text and 2 pages of reference materials, and was reviewed at the idea level in case the inter-Korean economic cooperation becomes active. It was terminated as it was without being disclosed on the website.”

Along with this, he explained, “Even though the case is currently being tried, we will disclose the original document after deliberation and resolution by the Information Disclosure Deliberation Committee in consideration of the public interest value of ending unnecessary controversy.”

The published documents contained a comprehensive outline of the implementation and the advantages and disadvantages of implementing each plan. The Ministry of Industry said, “This issue has not been promoted by government policy, and it is not true that the North Korean nuclear power plant construction was promoted in extreme secrecy,” and said, “I am sorry for the spread of unnecessary controversy over the data.”

The Ministry of Industry stressed that the previous day, “the claim that the government promoted the construction of the North Korean nuclear power plant in secret is not true.”

Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Kim Jong-in, chairman of the People’s Strength Emergency Response Committee, claimed that the Moon Jae-in administration tried to build a nuclear power plant in North Korea in top secret, causing controversy. In response, the Blue House immediately said, “It is an absurd argument. No matter how much ahead of the election, it is an irresponsible remark that cannot be believed to be from the mouth of the opposition representative. Chairman Kim will have to take responsibility for his remarks.”

In particular, it is known that President Moon Jae-in, right before the announcement of the position of the Blue House, said at an internal meeting, “I have received a lot of Matador, but this is absurd.”

President Moon criticized Chairman Kim’s remarks at a meeting of chief and advisors on the 1st, saying, “I hope that people will not retreat politics by encouraging confrontation with politics like relics of the old times that must be discarded in a difficult situation.”
