Earlier, at 3 pm on the 10th of last month, a 3-year-old girl was found dead in a villa in Sangmosagok-dong, Gumi-si. The body was found by A, the maternal grandmother living on the lower floor of the same building, and the maternal grandfather of the child, her husband, reported it.

In the investigation, the police arrested Mr. A’s daughter, Mr. B (22), on charges of murder and violation of the Child Welfare Act (children neglect).

Until then, the police found that his mother, B, raised a girl who died alone and left his 3-year-old daughter in an empty house for several months, leading to death due to remarriage or other reasons.

However, a DNA test result that came about a month after the incident revealed that the mother of the girl who died was Mr. A, known as her maternal grandmother.

The police said that it is highly likely that Mr. A gave birth to a child at the same time as his daughter B, and then secretly exchanged the child with the child born by his daughter, and applied the charges of looting a minor and arrested on the 11th. It is alleged that the child was taken away and neglected.

However, Mr. A claims that he has never had a daughter since his arrest, and there are no hospital birth records, which makes it difficult to identify the substance.
