President Moon asked Ambassador Harris to pay attention to the ROK-US alliance even after taking office, and said, “We will work closely with the new government.”

According to the Blue House on the 19th, President Moon interviewed Ambassador Harris for about 30 minutes in the Blue House interview room this afternoon. President Moon enacted his credentials when he was inaugurated as Ambassador Harris in July 2018, recalling the virtuous memory of “I heard that I like Andong Soju.

Ambassador Harris said, “I am leaving with good memories of Korea.” Ambassador Harris also cited his role in US-North Korea relations as a’highlight’ during his term, said Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok.

Ambassador Harris said, “I am pleased to see the response of innovative countries like Korea during the coronavirus”. The ROK-US alliance will continue to grow with common values ​​and interests such as culture and science and technology as well as military alliances.
