The trial on the alleged illegal succession of Samsung Electronics’ Samsung Electronics vice chairman Lee Jae-yong resumed in almost five months. Vice-Chairman Lee is also undergoing investigations on illegal propofol medication, and the Prosecutors’ Investigation Review Committee will be held to determine whether the investigation related to propofol is justified.

Since this was a preparatory hearing before the formal hearing, Vice-Chairman Lee did not attend, and 11 prosecutors and 23 lawyers, twice as many, were confronted in court.
The trial, which covers 190,000 pages of evidence alone, is expected to go on for a considerable period of time.
Vice-Chairman Lee, who has been serving since last January for bribing former President Park Geun-hye, may continue to attend court under arrest.
It’s not just this.
Vice-Chairman Lee is being investigated by the prosecution for suspected illegal administration of Propofol.
Vice-Chairman Lee’s side requested that the Prosecutors’ Investigation Review Committee be called to be judged whether the prosecution’s investigation was legitimate, but it was accepted.
It has also been revealed that the South Gyeonggi Police Agency is also investigating the charges of illegal administration of another propofol by Vice Chairman Lee.
It is known that the police secured body hair to prove the allegations, and Lee’s life in prison has been a series of perplexities.
