Ignore movement restrictions… 11 people from four families, confirmed after church training on one car

Even at the request of the quarantine authorities to refrain from moving and meetings during the year-end and New Year holidays, a bunch of family members who participated in the church training were confirmed to have a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

According to Chungnam Province on the 4th, 11 Asan citizens (No. 216~226), who were confirmed for Corona 19 on the 3rd, attended a training seminar at Church A in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 31st of last year. There are 4 families of 11, and the possibility of further increase in the number of confirmed cases cannot be ruled out as other families who have contacted them are waiting for the test results.

As a result of the epidemiological investigation, it was confirmed that members from Asan and Suwon, as well as from five cities and counties nationwide, attended the church training. For this reason, the quarantine authorities are concerned about the spread of local communities. On the 31st of last month, the families of Asan confirmed patients drove to a church training in Suwon.

At Church A, on the 2nd, Mr. B, an affiliated training institute employee, was confirmed as Corona 19. Mr. B is believed to have been confirmed after contacting a teenager (#115, Gangneung) living in Gangneung, Gangwon-do. Gangneung No. 115, confirmed on the 1st, showed symptoms of Corona 19 such as phlegm, headache, and chills from the 25th of last month, and was tested on the 31st. The 115th family member of Gangneung 114 confirmed was confirmed on the 31st of last month. The route of infection of Gangneung No. 115 has not been confirmed.

The quarantine authorities conducted a total survey of 34 people, including officials and employees of Church A, and members of the training. As a result of the test, 9 people, including Mr. B, in Suwon and 11 in Asan were confirmed. The quarantine authorities are conducting an epidemiologic investigation for Church A on whether they comply with the quarantine rules and the movements and contacts of the confirmed patients.
