Ministry of Agriculture and Food resumes non-face-to-face dining discount support business from 29th
[대한급식신문=정지미 기자] The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister Kim Hyeon-su, hereinafter the Ministry of Agriculture and Food) announced that it will resume eating out discount support from 10 o’clock on the 29th only for orders and payments through delivery apps in accordance with the Corona 19 conditions.
In consideration of the situation in which the quarantine authorities actively recommend refraining from meetings in order to curb the spread of Corona 19, the restaurant discount support project will be resumed only in the non-face-to-face dining areas such as delivery and packaging. The event is held regardless of weekday or weekend
A total of 11 delivery apps (6 public and 5 private) will participate in this event. Seven delivery apps, such as Delivery Express, Mukkebi, People of Delivery, Yogiyo, Coupang Itsu, Wemepo, and PAYCO, are available from 10 o’clock on the 29th as the card company connection system has been established. Four delivery apps, called calling and calling zero, will also participate as soon as the system maintenance is completed.
If a person who wants to participate in the event newly applies for the card company’s website and app, and uses the applied card to order and pay at least KRW 20,000 (based on the final payment amount) 4 times in total, the card company will pay 10,000 KRW. You can get a refund or a claim discount. The performance is recognized up to twice a day for each card company, and the simple payment of the delivery app can be recognized as eating out only if it is linked to the application card.
However, due to the constraints of the performance verification system, only ordering and paying for packaging and delivery through the delivery app will be recognized as performance. After ordering and paying for the delivery app, you can visit the store to package, but face-to-face payment by the delivery person or packaging after visiting the store and paying on-site is not accepted.

Food Industry Policy Officer Kim Jong-gu of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food said, “We advise you to use non-face-to-face dining as much as possible during the year-end and New Year’s holidays.”
