Congestion in the 30km section of Gyeongbu Expressway

On the afternoon of the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, traffic congestion occurs everywhere due to the crowds of returning and returning vehicles on the national highways.
According to the Korea Expressway Corporation on the 11th, traffic congestion occurs in all 30km sections of the Gyeongbu Expressway toward Busan as of 12:30 pm, from around the Oksan Junction to the Nami Junction and 18 km. In the direction of Seoul, cars are going back and forth in a total of 12 km, including Dalraenae and Banpo 9 km.
Seoul Metropolitan Area 1 Beltway Expressway (Seoul Outer Ring Expressway) In the direction of Ilsan, near Sorae Tunnel-13km from Noji Junction, Tongil-ro-6km from Nogosan 1 Tunnel, etc. Cars move slowly in the kilometer section.
On the Seohaean Expressway, the Mokpo direction is about 14 km, including the Seohae Bridge 10 km and the Seohae Bridge 10 km. The Seoul Yangyang Expressway is blocked only in the direction of Yangyang in the 15km section of the vicinity of Deokso Sampae ~ 4km near the Namyangju Tollgate, and the flow of vehicles toward Seoul is good.
On the Yeongdong Expressway, a vehicle runs slowly in a section of 32 km, including Deokpyeong Service Area in the Gangneung direction and 14km in the Yeoju Service Area, and a 2km section in the Incheon direction near Wolgot Junction.
The Jungbu Expressway is not smooth in the 26km section, such as the Nami direction near Seocheongju ~ Nami Junction 9km, and the Jungbu Inland Expressway near the Mungyeong 2 Tunnel towards Changwon ~ 16km at Mungyeong Rest Area.
An official of the Korea Highway Corporation said, “The amount of traffic that actually occurred until 12:30 in the day was 1.48 million vehicles nationwide.”

Accordingly, the estimated time it takes to major cities by car at 2 p.m. is △Seoul-Busan 4 hours 40 minutes △Seoul-Daegu 3 hours 40 minutes △Seoul-Gwangju 3 hours 20 minutes △Seoul-Daejeon 1 hour 50 minutes △ Seoul-Gangneung 2 hours 50 minutes △ Seoul-Ulsan 4 hours 20 minutes △ Seo Seoul-Mokpo 3 hours 40 minutes.
On the contrary, the time required from major cities to Seoul is △ Busan 4 hours 30 minutes △ Ulsan 4 hours 10 minutes △ Gangneung 2 hours 40 minutes △ Yangyang 1 hour 50 minutes (arrival to Namyangju) △ Daejeon 1 hour 30 minutes △ Gwangju 3 hours 20 minutes △ Mokpo 3 hours 40 minutes (arrival at Seo Seoul) △ Daegu 3 hours 30 minutes.
