The CRPH is a member of the Democratic National Alliance (NLD), which was the ruling party of Aung San Suu Kyi’s civil government, and was made up of those who were elected in the general election last November. They separately appoint acting ministers, etc. and are pursuing recognition by the legal civil government. Acting Vice President Man Yun Kaing Tan is leading the civil government on behalf of Suu Kyi and President Yun Min, who are being held in custody by the military.

“This is the darkest moment in this country, but the dawn is not far away,” he said in a Facebook speech. “CRPH will push forward the necessary legislation to ensure that the people have the right to protect themselves, and form a temporary national administration team. It is planned to carry out public administration in the year.”

Since the speech that day, thousands of netizens have told Facebook, “You are our hope. “We will be together” and so on.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths was at least 92, including 9 citizens killed by the Myanmar military police, as of the 14th, as Myanmar military and police began bloodshed day after day against the protesters protesting the coup.

According to the Myanmar Political Offender Support Association (AAPP), the death toll has so far exceeded 80 and more than 2,100 citizens have been arrested. Deaths from bloody suppression are concentrated in metropolitan areas such as Yangon, Mandalay, and Magwee, and among the victims, it is known that a large number of students in their late teens are included.

Local media reported that the military and police were not hesitating to conduct atrocities such as killing or arbitrarily arresting citizens who were not related to the protesters while visiting residential areas at night. It also added that if citizens resist this, there are cases of damage to private property, such as by destroying car windows and stores.
