Kang Daniel debuted as’Wanna One’ through the tvN survival audition program’Produce 101 Season 2’and received great love. However, he temporarily suspended activities in December 2019 for health reasons such as panic disorder and depression. Kang Daniel said, “I had no motivation in life. Why did I want to sleep and eat. I remembered that time, because I had no purpose to live, so I was just like an animal, not a person.”

Kang Daniel, who recovered his health during the rest period, said, “I was stimulated by listening to music a lot and watching other singers perform.” In particular, he explained, “I was thinking of retiring, but I also had a passion to stand on the stage again.” He released a new song’PARANOIA’ on the 16th. I put that heart into a new song.”

Kang Daniel also revealed that his smile was thoroughly made. He said, “Originally, I am a chic personality.” But my real laughter and fake laughter don’t come out very much. The real smile is the higher tone.”

Kang Daniel, who often watched the Emperor’s Gag program during his break, explained that it was “my laugh button.” He also showed real laughter while mimicking the emperor’s castle.
