(Paris = Yonhap News) Correspondent Hyeon Hye-ran = The British Daily Guardian reported on the 1st (local time) that the damage testimony of being sexually assaulted by Alexander Wang (37), a world-renowned fashion designer from the United States, is continuing online.
Wang is drawing the line as “outrageous false allegations,” but after British model Owen Mooney, 26, accused him of being sexually harassed by King at a nightclub in New York in January 2017, the Social Network Service (SNS) Articles complaining of similar damage are being published anonymously.
Mooney explained that he started touching his leg next to someone at the club, and his hands were gradually rising, and he turned his head to the left and insisted that the king was stuttering.
Model industry whistleblower Instagram accounts such as’Diet Prada’ and’Shit Model Management’ posted accusations that had not received attention in the past while sharing Mooney’s posts.
The New York-based model rights advocacy group’Model Alliance’ stood by the victims, issuing a statement expressing solidarity to victims who allegedly had been molested by the king.
Wang told The Guardian, “We’ve been faced with unfounded, absurd and false allegations over the past few days,” and “anonymous claims without evidence and without facts are being amplified in the wrong way on social media.”
At the same time, he refuted that he had never acted like an article posted online, and added that he would post a related article and hold the responsible for the dissemination of it.
Wang, a Taiwanese-American born in the United States, achieved great success by launching the brand under his own name in 2005, and served as the creative director of the Valencia Street from 2012 to 2015.
