Jeju United coach Nam Ki-il (47) expressed regret about the referee’s decision.
Jeju lost 1-2 in a match against Suwon FC in the 7th round of’Hanawon Q K League 1 (1st Division) 2021′ held at Suwon Sports Complex on the 4th. Jeju lost two goals in video reading (VAR). In the 34th minute of the first half, Jeju’s Ahn Hyun-beom shook the goal of Suwon FC with a right-footed shot, but VAR concluded with an attacker foul. Suwon FC Ras’ goal was scored during the first half extra time. The assistant referee declared offside. However, it was recognized as a score as a result of the VAR reading. In Jeju, in the 13th minute of the second half, Joo Min-gyu turned the game to the starting point with a heading shot.
In the extra time in the second half, Suwon FC Jo Yoo-min scored a dramatic final goal. Just before the end of the game, Jeju Joo-gyu broke the goal net of Suwon FC again. VAR did not count as a goal. The reading of the VAR was a handball foul.
