As the Corona 19 incident continues for more than a year, the so-called’N miscellaneous’ with two or more jobs is increasing, centering on some occupations, such as 2030 households and non-regular workers who have just got a job at a company. They found that they delivered parcel delivery after work, YouTube activities, and shopping mall operations so as not to overlap with their working hours.

In the past, there were many cases where one job was used as a lifelong job, but it is pointed out that it has become difficult to stick to only one job as the anxiety about the future increases due to the Corona 19 incident. Experts predicted that the’N job fever’ of office workers will continue even after Corona 19.

Jeong Mo (27), a first-year employee working in a small and medium-sized business, is taking an Internet lecture on video editing after work. Mr. Jeong said, “The company’s situation became difficult due to Corona 19, so it became difficult to expect an increase in salary. In the meantime, the perceived price increased, so I thought that I should learn anything,” he said. He added, “If I get a little more proficient in video editing, I plan to work part-time video editing as a side job.”

As such, more and more office workers want two jobs. ‘Job Korea’ surveyed 642 workers in October last year, and it was found that 84.1% of respondents were willing to do two jobs. In particular, 16.4% of respondents said, “I’m already doing two jobs.”

By age group, those in their twenties (86.5%) and thirties (86.0%) were more willing to two-job, and those in their 40s and over had a relatively low answer of ‘willing to two-job’ at 76.3%.
