According to the city of Daejeon on the 25th, one student from Gyeongnam at this facility had symptoms of coughing, phlegm, and headache on the 12th. Daejeon City judges this student as the first bequest boxer of IEM International School.

Until last weekend, there were 6 students who showed suspicious symptoms of Corona 19. However, the school did not receive tests or hospital treatment for the believing patients, but only quarantined the dormitory.

All I had to do was contact the parents of the symptomatic students to take them home last weekend to be tested. There was no preemptive action by the school until the two students who went to their homes in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do and Pohang, Gyeongbuk on the 23rd were confirmed on the 24th. In the meantime, the students with the symptoms were quarantined only in the dormitory, but they were mixed with other students every day for more than ten days.

As a result of this, 6 confirmed cases were added in Daejeon on the 24th, and 119 more were confirmed through a full examination that day. The total number of confirmed cases related to this facility is 127. Among them, 116 were confirmed, 96.7% of the total 120 students, including two students who went to their homes in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do and Pohang, Gyeongbuk. Of the 125 confirmed cases in Daejeon (114 students, 11 faculty members, etc.), 83 were bequests.

Of these, 100 patients, including mild patients and asymptomatic patients, moved to Asan Life Treatment Center, Chungnam, and 25 patients with symptoms were moved to hospitals in Daejeon, including Chungnam National University Hospital.

Daejeon Mayor Hur Tae-jeong said, “It is very regrettable that the school did not take appropriate measures, such as preemptive inspection, when the first symptoms were found.” I plan to do it.”

Meanwhile, it is known that the unauthorized facility of a religious organization in Daejeon was established in 2010 by Korean Michael Jo. Jo was also confirmed as confirmed.
