The police investigated for about 20 days after the crime, but could not identify the suspect. This is because the crime was meticulously carried out in a very short time, and there are no clues left to identify the criminal.

The crime, which seemed to fall into a labyrinth, was stepped on by a police officer who constantly rotated about 1000 closed circuit TV (CCTV) videos. As a result of the police tracking back the suspect’s escape route through CCTV analysis, the criminal was revealed to be Inspector A, an incumbent western police officer.

On the 7th, the Gwangju South Police Station is arresting and investigating Inspector A on the alleged (special theft) theft of precious metals worth 25 million won. After the crime, the stolen precious metals were stored in a place only known to them. Inspector A tried to avoid police suspicion by hiding precious metals without selling them as stolen goods. However, in the end, they were arrested before selling the stolen goods, and the police were able to recover all the damaged goods.

Inspector A used the annual leave for two days from the day before the crime to the day of the crime. On the day after the crime, he went to work normally to avoid the suspicion of his colleagues.
