[아시아경제 김봉주 기자] At a zoo outside Jakarta, Indonesia, a hippopotamus suffocated from a cup thrown into the hippopotamus’ mouth by a visitor.
According to CNN Indonesia on the 9th, A hippopotamus-related video filmed on the 7th at the zoo’s’Taman Safari’ spread to social media.
Taman Safari is a’driving safari’ where you can feed animals while in a car.
In the video, a black vehicle passed by while the hippopotamus was opening its mouth on the street, and the hippopotamus gasped for breath, saying that the hippopotamus opened and closed her mouth.
This was filmed by a spectator in a vehicle following him, and a blue plastic bottled water cup was stuck in his throat in the hippopotamus’s mouth.
The person who took the picture said, “I saw the occupant of the car in front of him holding a plastic object in his hand and waving it towards the hippopotamus.”

The photographer immediately reported it to the zookeeper so the hippo could take out the plastic cup before swallowing.
The zoo said, “I removed the plastic cup and tissue from the hippo’s mouth,” and “I keep checking the condition, but my condition and appetite seem normal,” he said.
The Taman Safari side found the woman by using the vehicle number, etc., and the woman eventually took a video of an apology.
“I threw it by mistake, not intentionally. I guess I was crazy. Don’t follow me,” said Kadija, 64, a woman perpetrator.
The Taman Safari side reported to the police asking for investigation of animal cruelty.
As Taman Safari is a’driving safari’ in which visitors can directly touch animals, something absurd has happened here in the past.
In 2017, video footage of male and female visitors feeding wine to animals at Taman Safari, posted on their Instagram, and bought a frown.
They spit the wine they had in their mouths into the hippopotamus’s mouth and shouted “jackpot” and rejoiced. They also lured the deer with carrots and poured the wine into their mouths.
