
It has been confirmed that the pure electric vehicle of Hyundai Motor’s’Ioniq 5’will be unveiled at its own World Premiere event in February next year.
The timing of Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 release was mentioned on the Austrian subsidiary’s website.
Hyundai Motor Company’s Austrian subsidiary started operating the pre-contract website for’Ioniq 5 First Edition’ on the 18th.
According to this website, advance contracts are possible through online until January 31 of next year. The advance deposit is 1,000 euros.
Hyundai Motor Company’s Austrian subsidiary announced that it will be able to select the color of the vehicle from February 2nd next year in local time. According to this plan, Ioniq 5’s World Premier event is likely to be held on February 1 or February 2 next year.
Hyundai Motor Company’s Austrian subsidiary plans to deliver 150 units of the Ioniq 5 First Edition to consumers from next June. In Korea, it is expected that customer delivery will be possible earlier than in Austria.
The motor output of the IONIQ 5, which was unveiled to Hyundai Motor Company’s Austrian subsidiary, is 230kW (313PS). The AWD method is used and the driving distance is 450km based on European WLTP. The time from 0 to 100 km/h per hour is 5.2 seconds. This is similar to the Sonata N-line acceleration performance.
According to Hyundai Motor Company, the Ioniq 5 can be charged from 20% to 80% of the battery in 15 minutes when using an 800V high voltage fast charger.
The Ionic 5 has a body size of 4640mm in length, 1890mm in width, 1600mm in height, and 3000mm in wheelbase.
