Hyundai Motor Company will start a preliminary contract in Korea for Ionic 5, a pure electric vehicle based on the E-GMP platform, from the 25th.

For the Ionic 5, a pre-contract is made first from the long range that can drive 400km. Customer delivery of the two-wheel drive model is expected to start in April, and the four-wheel drive model is expected to be delivered to the customer in May. Standard two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive with short mileage are expected to be delivered to customers in June.

The Ionic 5 long range is largely divided into exclusive and prestige. The exclusive sales price excluding subsidies will be set between 52 million won and 52.5 million won, and the prestige is expected to range between 57 million and 57.5 million won. If both trims are set within the price range of 60 million won, they can receive 100% of the government subsidy.

Ioniq 5 is equipped with a heat pump system that can be useful for driving in winter. In addition, battery heating system and outdoor V2L connector are standard.

The outdoor V2L connector connects to the charging port located at the right end of the vehicle. Since it is compatible with 220V electricity, you can use household appliances such as coffee pots and hair dryers. V2L connectors that are mounted indoors are classified as optional customization items.

The Ionic 5 has a total of 6 airbags. In addition to the driver’s seat and passenger’s seat, the front seat side airbags, etc. In addition, multiple collision avoidance automatic control systems are included as standard.

The Ioniq 5 Exclusive trim includes 19-inch alloy wheels and Michelin tires, and the Prestige trim includes 20-inch alloy wheels and Michelin tires.

Both the indoor cluster and center fascia display size are 12.3 inches. Both specifications are fitted as standard, both exclusive and prestige. The Universal Island, with the center console moving back and forth, is standard on both trims. Ventilated front seats and heated seats are also included as standard.

The standard ADAS is different for both trims.

First of all, the exclusive trim includes front collision avoidance assistance, lane departure prevention assistance, intelligent speed limit assistance, driver attention warning, high beam assistance, smart cruise control (including stop and restart functions), and navigation-based smart cruise control (safety section, curve road). ), lane maintenance assistance, highway driving assistance (HDA), and rear-seat passenger notifications are basic.

Prestige trim includes front collision avoidance assistance (including avoidance steering assistance function), rear collision avoidance assistance, safety disembarkation assistance, smart cruise control (including driving style linkage), navigation-based smart cruise control, along with the exclusive trim basic driving assistance specifications. (Including access road), highway driving assistance (HDA) 2, and rear cross collision avoidance assistance are added as standard.

If you want to use the Highway Driving Assist 2 function in the exclusive trim, you need to add the Hyundai Smart Sense option package separately. The price of the package has yet to be set. This is expected to be revealed when this sale is made.

The driver’s seat and passenger seat relaxation seats are standard for the Prestige trim. To use this feature in the exclusive trim, you need to include the Comfort II package.

A head-up display that can use both augmented reality mode and normal mode at the same time is standard on the Prestige trim. This feature has the disadvantage that it cannot be added as an option in the Prestige Trim.

The digital side mirror function with a camera in the seat of the side mirror can be added as an option in the Prestige trim. The exact option price of the digital side mirror has not yet been released, and the specification is applicable only in Korea.
