Hyundai Motor Company introduces a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) in 22 years.
It is a vehicle that Lee Dong-guk of’The Lion King’ received as a gift from Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui-sun as a retirement gift.

Hyundai Motor Company confirmed the car name of the premium MPV model as’STARIA’ and released a teaser image for the first time on the 11th.
Staria is a vehicle that can experience the spatiality most similar to a customized means of transportation (PBV), and it is revealing the direction of Hyundai Motors to provide a’smart mobility solution’ by actively reflecting the diverse needs of customers for the use of space for transportation Explained.
Staria’s car name, a compound word of STAR and RIA, was inspired by the appearance of a spacecraft that swims between the stars.
Staria is an MPV that Hyundai Motors unveiled in 22 years after Santamo (1996) and Traje XG (1999) with the concept of’MPV with an innovative and futuristic image’.
The teaser image released this time is the luxury model’Starria Lounge’ for 7 people.

It maximizes the sense of space with a high height and long overall width and length.
The front part is a high-tech image with a large and wide radiator grille, a thin and long daytime running light (DRL) that runs across the body, and a low-lying headlamp.
The smooth curve that runs from the front to the rear of the vehicle is reminiscent of a spacecraft, and the pixel-type rear combination lamp adds luxury.
The interior space, inspired by the cruise’s lounge, is luxurious and spacious.
Hyundai Motors explained that Starria’s interior space was applied with an’Inside-Out’ design to maximize passenger convenience and usability.
“Starria is the first MPV to open a new era of mobility,” said Lee Sang-yeop, executive director in charge of Hyundai Design. “We will provide new experiences and values to customers through differentiated designs.”
In November of last year, at the retirement ceremony of Jeonbuk Hyundai Lee Dong-guk, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui-sun delivered a commemorative plaque and a new minivan voucher, which became a hot topic.
At the time, it was known as the successor model of Starex, but Hyundai explained that Staria was not the concept of the successor model of Starex.
