“How hard it would have been” found dead in the 50s of the Daegu gym

The director in his 50s who ran a gym in Daegu was found dead on the first day of the year, and the police investigated. In the gym operator online community, claims to the effect of a side effect caused by economic difficulties due to business restrictions to prevent the spread of Corona 19 were raised.

According to the Daegu Fire Department and the police on the 3rd, the family found that the curator A was collapsed at a gym in Daegu at 6:40 pm on the 1st and reported it to the police. He is known to have left a memo stating “I’m sorry to my family.” The police regarded it as an extreme option considering that there were no charges of crime such as murder, but said, “There is no content to confirm.”

In this regard, an online community where fitness center operators gathered has posted an article in memory of the deceased. One member wrote, “It was too hard to close the door for two months because of Shincheonji,” and “Now after I was a little old, the music in the health industry sounds.” He added, “This is reality and not someone else’s story,” he added. “I was unhappy about why only Daegu had to struggle so much in February last year, but now it is a nationwide misfortune.” The difficulty of the industry concerned is a nationwide situation. In the metropolitan area, where the social distancing step 2.5 is being implemented since the 8th of last month, it is virtually impossible to operate such as gyms and billiards due to the ban on grouping of indoor sports facilities. In the non-metropolitan area, operating hours and number of people per area are limited except for some areas in phase 2.5. In the Daegu area, since the 24th of last month, the number of people using indoor sports facilities was restricted due to the enforcement of measures to strengthen quarantine during the year-end and New Year, and operation was banned after 9pm.

Accordingly, 153 business owners belonging to the Pilates and Fitness Business Alliance filed a lawsuit against the government on the 30th of last month to claim damages. The billing amount is 5 million won per person, a total of 765 million won. On the same day, they insisted that the flexible operation of indoor sports facilities should be allowed based on standards such as a membership reservation system and restrictions on the number of users through the Blue House National Petition Bulletin Board. As of 10 pm on the 3rd, 136,000 people agreed to this petition.
