He said, “We are planning to supply 243,000 units for the construction of the third new city. Of these, we have made advance subscriptions for a total of 62,000 units, including 30,000 units in the second half of this year and 32,000 units next year. I’m going to give it to you.”

He pointed out, “If these plans are delayed or canceled without any countermeasures, the homeless, the common people, and the youth, as well as the future generation of children, will suffer enormous sense of loss and pain.”

Deputy Prime Minister Hong said, “The government plans to sequentially disclose candidate sites from the end of March after reviewing the possibility of projects among about 170 locations proposed by local governments in relation to public redevelopment projects among the second and fourth measures.”

“In April, we plan to announce the 2nd new housing site with a scale of 150,000 units according to the 2nd and 4th measures as planned. In particular, in the case of this 2nd housing site, we identified speculative forces through land transaction analysis before and after the announcement We will take strict measures, such as requesting an investigation,” he added.
