The government held a meeting of real estate-related ministers presided over by Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister of the Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance, and announced an apology to the public.
Regarding the controversy over real estate speculation by LH employees, Deputy Prime Minister Hong said, “If real estate speculation is confirmed, we will take action under zero tolerance such as request for investigation and disciplinary action.”
He said, “We will prepare fundamental measures to prevent recurrence from this incident.”
In addition, he said, “In the event of a deviation from related employees, we will strengthen the management responsibility of the entire organization and ensure that unfair gains are recovered.”
He also made it clear that he would consistently implement the previously announced real estate policy.
During this month, we announced the candidate sites for 2.4 supply measures and the second candidate for public redevelopment, and emphasized that the pre-subscription for the 3rd new town will begin in July.
In addition, those who have engaged in so-called four major market disruptions, such as market price manipulation, illegal brokerage, and illegal resale, as well as speculation using non-public internal information, recover more than the gains gained from the criminal activity, He said he would limit the schedule until employment.
In particular, in the case of the 3rd new town, it has stated that it will take severe punishment if speculativeness is confirmed not only in the public but also in the private sector.
At the same time, he repeatedly emphasized that LH employees will be dismissed if individual deviates from allegations of speculation, and that if it is a structural problem, a systematic preventive structure will be established.
