In July 2017, a decision was made to recommend reconciliation so that only 12 million won can be repaid if payment is made by August 31. However, Choi Hong-man did not pay 12 million won until August 31. 15% interest must be paid.
It turns out that Choi Hong-man has not paid even 1 won for interests of 20 million won and more than 10 million won, which is 15% of annual interest. Since it is not clear where Choi Hong-man will live, it is not even being served.
Earlier, in 2013 and 2015, Choi Hong-man borrowed money from an acquaintance and was handed over to trial on charges of fraud because he did not repay it. He was sentenced to one year in prison and two years probation on the charges, and is currently not engaged in any other activities in Korea.
