It was argued that Choi Hong-man had not paid back his unpaid wages for five years.

Former manager A filed a complaint with the Seoul Eastern District Court regarding the payment of unpaid wages against Choi Hong-man, and was sentenced to pay 20 million won in October 2016. However, through an interview with a media recently, he argued that “up to the present, five years later, only Choi Hong-man has not paid the principal and interest.”

According to the ruling, a reconciliation recommendation decision was made that could only pay 12 million won if paid from August to 31, 2017. However, Choi Hong-man did not pay it.

After that date, the principal amount of 20 million won and 15% of annual interest must be paid. Mr. A said that Choi Hong-man did not pay 1 won for interest of 20 million won and 10 million won, which is 15% per year.

In 2016, Hong-man Choi was sentenced to one year in prison and two years probation for fraud. Choi Hong-man participated in the Angel Fighting game in June 2019, and appeared in Channel A’s’Icon Tact’ in December of the same year, but hasn’t been doing much since.

However, he recently appeared on Japanese TBS entertainment’今夜解禁! Choi Hong-man said on the broadcast, “If you lose the game, you have been severely criticized as’Korean embarrassment’, and it was mentally difficult. When you were in the ring, your eyes suddenly became dark with a sense of fear, and the memory of the game disappeared.”
