According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, the number of vehicles using highways nationwide is expected to reach 3.78 million on this day. It is estimated that 410,000 vehicles heading from the metropolitan area to the provinces, and 320,000 cars going from the province to the metropolitan area.

The traffic congestion on the return road that started from 4 to 5 a.m. reaches its peak after 11 a.m., and is expected to resolve around 5 to 6 p.m. The Gwigyeong Road from the provinces to Seoul is expected to start at 8-9 am, peaking at 12 pm to 1 pm and clearing around 4-5 pm.
